How I am going to film it
What song I am going to use for the video

'Hurley' is a newly released album by a band called Weezer. This album is not for an all age all gender album as it has a photo of Hurley on the front. 'Hurley' is a character from a US hit show called LOST only people that have watched LOST would know this. This album straight away narrows down its target market straight away. There is nothing on the cover taht tells you which band has even created this album. The photo itself is very bright and colourful and you can't help but smile when looking at it. From the album cover doesn't tell you anything about the genre of music. So overall the album has a very small target market and the cover doesnt tell you anything about the band but for those fans that watch lost this album would really stand out in a shop. What i really like about the idea itself is that its different and really does stand out.
Ushers number 1 album Raymond V Raymond topped the UK chart in May due to his number 1 single OMG. This album was Ushers 5th album and was seen as one of his best albums. The album cover itself is very interesting and can be seen as very personal as it looks like he is stairing right into and looking at you as if he knows you thsi photo makes the audience feel intermate with Usher. The unusual thing about the album name is the fact that it seems almost as if he is saying its him against himself. The colours of the picture are interesting as they are all dark colours give the audience a sense of sadness and unease yet as you look at the top of the photo the light brightens the top of the picture and his face to almost say that he can help you and is almost angelic.
'The Resistance' is an award winning album cover by getting given the award for best artwork of 2009. The image itself is both creative and an illusion in itself. It seems to me a road that leads to the Earth and on the road is what seems to be a man. the coloured panels around the side of the road get brighter yet also looks like its a 3d circle. Behind the panels are just the stars yet this is only in a circle and outside the circle is just a plain dull grey background. The colour against the dull background really catches the audiences eye and brings the cd cover alive.
This is an album by John Lennon called 'Live Peace in Toronto' which was released in 1969 at this time there was a lot of peace and love very much the hippie age. To the audience this album cover makes great sense to the era it was made in. The main image for this photo is a blue sky with one small cloud, the cover is so simple and chilled out perfect to the era and them being so peaceful. Its so simple yet effective this is very much an idea that i would like to take into consideration to do this for my cd cover.

This is an album by ‘Delphic’ an indie band. I have never really heard of this band but to me I found the album cover especially interesting. As the audience can see the album cover is made up of ink in what seems to be water and it turning into the band members or the band members turning to ink when they hit the water. I find the dark colours that they use for the ink such as blacks, greys and purples all very dark which works with the white background very well it draws the audiences attention straight to the image and the due to the reason the title ‘Delphic’ this is all done for a reason which is to draw the audiences attention to the bands name.
Chase & Status ‘Let You Go’
The music video to let you go I found particularly interesting as most of the time during the video are camera angles in which are looking at the main characters face or the back of the head this gives the viewer a sense of mystery to the character.
The story about this music video is how a TV presenter very much like Jeremy Kyle who tries to sort out peoples lives and frowns about such things as drugs, drink, affairs, prostitution and goes out and does it after his show.
Its very clever how they show the story without using dialogue from the main characters mouth they use certain camera shots for example a zoom in on his family photo which shows the audience that he is a married man. During the video when he is in the club drunk and on drugs the camera shot is just on his face and as he walks around the club it gives the audience the sense of disorientation as it seems his head is spinning it even makes the audience feel sick with all the strobe lighting in the background.
The music itself also goes very well with the video as the when the tempo increases the video seems to increase in speed and his condition gets worst. When the beat drops everything seems to quieten down or in the video he is driving smoking or picking up his drugs then it all changes when the bass drops.

This is the album made by Eminem called ‘Relapse’ which was released in June 21st 2010. I find that this album cover is very simple yet tells a lot within the photo and the font. The main image of this cover is a man walking down an empty road. People that have never seen Eminem wouldn’t know that this was him walking down the road but most fans realise it is him. I find that this photo is very powerful due to the reason that the album is called ‘Recovery’ and his previous album was called ‘Relapse’ his past two albums have been about how he has been getting over drugs and drink and this photo shows that his ‘Recovery’ is near the end of the road and whilst he was recovering he felt like he was all alone. The scenery of the photo is interesting as it’s not a built up area it seems very derelict and in the middle of know where to emphasis the state that he was in. The title itself is very interesting, as you can see that where the ‘o’ is in ‘Recovery there is a white cross which is very similar to that of the red cross which is a symbol of aid this is what the artist could be portraying in the use of this symbol that he needed aid and help. The E which is backwards in the title is there for a reason and that reason is that it is Eminem’s symbol that backwards ‘E’ has been his trademark symbol ever since he started his music career.

this is an album produced and made by James Blunt called 'All the Lost Souls'. The album cover it self is a collage off photos of himself from when he was a baby to now. I thought that this idea is espically clever as it lets the audience feel close to the artist as they are photos of him when he was younger. I especially like they way the photos together amke a picture of him now. The title itself is also a collage in which they have selected letters from magazines, billboards, signs from vegas all in which i find are very differnt to what you normally see in an album cover.
The Libertines are a very controversial band as their lead singer has been caught taking numerous drugs, thats why the title of the album itself doesn't suprise the audience. The title 'The Libertines' is very similar to the sex pistols which are letters cut out of newspapers or magazines this gives the band a rough look and so called 'rock & roll' look. The main image of the album is taht of two men both being part of the band the man on the right is the lead singer and the man on the left is the guitarist. The way that the man on the right is holding his left arm is to show the audience that he has just had a hit of heroin this is to emphasis the title of the album which is 'Doing Heroin Makes Us Punk!' and as i said before the title is very similar to that of sex pistols title well in there time the sex pistols were seen as a british punk band this is also another reason for the font of the band and the album name. What i like most about this album is the simplicity of the photo, they didnt hire out models to be in their photo they have got the actual band members this then makes the audience recongnize them when they see the album cover.

This album is from a band called The Bloodhound Gang. This was there first album sold worldwide as there debut single got to number 1 in both USA and the UK called 'The Bad Touch' which was released the in 1999 aand so waas the album. The album itself is called 'Hooray for Boobies' which is clearly visable on the album cover as it is in teh middle of it. To realitirate that the album is called 'Hooray for Boobies' it has pictures of boobies behind which have all been censored for legal reasons as it would not be politically correct to advertise an album with boobies all over it. The artwork itself is very good as it is very vibrant with a huge array of colours to grab the audiences attention. They also have pictures of each member of the band on the cover to tell the audience who the band are so taht tehy can easily recognize them.

B.O.B's newly released album that had come out in April was this specific album cover. It is called The Adventures of Bobby Ray. Personnally the album cover is very good as it gives a sense of action and he has made the album cover look very 3D with the rocks looking as if they are flying of the album cover. The main image of this album cover is that of the music artist himslef B.O.B this tells the audience that this is the artist that has made and produced this music so they know exactly what they are buying. The text and font on the top left handside of the album cover is bold and the font itself seems like its from star wars. The problem with this album cover is that you dont get the image that it is a music artist as there is nothing that says on the cover that it is music. It also doesn't tell the audience what genre of music at all.
