• The story of my video is a guy who wakes up one morning with everything gone no one is there; cars are left abandoned on the road and it’s all dead. He walks round trying to find answers but can only find one solution (drink). During his search he sees this one girl but she fades away every time he looks at her. He hears her sing but that is all. When he eventually gets home he goes on the piss imagines he’s having a party not caring thinking it will all go away yet when he wakes up it all starts again.
• I am going to get a camera put it on a tripod and film derelict areas of the island for a certain amount of time, these will act as my empty and dead areas. The reason for filming in these places for a long period of time is because it is inevitable that someone will walk past.
• Next are the home shots these are fairly simple as I will just film the rooms in which people are not in.
• The abandoned cars can just be cut into the shot as it would be considerably hard to leave cars abandoned in the road for a long time as it would cause disturbances to people’s travels, cause accidents and huge traffic jams.
• The night shots will be easily to film as not as many people are out at night so filming in town can now be made possible.
• I have decided that I should have flash backs in my video for example walking through town can cause flashbacks of him with his mates in town.
• Most of the shots which will have someone in them will be side shots of the face where he will also be lip sinking
• There will be some shaky shots involved in the flash backs to add a sense of realisation to what life use to be like.
